1. Basis of Sale

1.1. All parts sold are used/second-hand unless explicitly stated as “new.” 1.2. By placing an order, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. 1.3. A contract is only formed once we have processed your payment and dispatched the goods.

2. Pricing and Payment

2.1. All prices are quoted in GBP (£). 2.2. Payment must be made in full before any goods are dispatched or collected. 2.3. We accept payments via Credit/Debit card or Bank Transfer. 2.4. Security Warning: Payments via bank transfer must only be made to our verified business account: A and C Autosalvage (uk) LTD. We will never ask for payment into a personal bank account.

3. Description of Goods

3.1. As we are a Car Breakers and specialists in used German parts, items will show signs of previous use, including wear, tear, or minor cosmetic marks. 3.2. We make every effort to ensure images and descriptions are accurate. However, images are for illustrative purposes unless the listing states it is the “exact item.” 3.3. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the part is compatible with their vehicle (e.g., checking part numbers or engine codes).

4. Delivery

4.1. We primarily use FedEx for nationwide delivery. 4.2. Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for any costs incurred due to late delivery (e.g., garage re-booking fees). 4.3. Inspection: You must inspect the goods immediately upon delivery. If the packaging is damaged, you must sign for the item as “DAMAGED” or refuse the delivery. Claims for transit damage cannot be processed if signed for in good condition.

5. Warranty and Liability

5.1. All mechanical parts (Engines, Gearboxes, etc.) come with a warranty period as specified on your invoice. 5.2. Labour Costs: Our warranty covers the cost of the part only. We are not liable for any labour charges, garage fees, vehicle recovery, or car hire costs under any circumstances. 5.3. The warranty is void if:

• The part has been dismantled or tampered with.

• The part was fitted incorrectly or used in a way not intended (e.g., racing/off-road).

• Timing belts/chains, water pumps, or oil filters were not replaced upon fitting (for engines/gearboxes).

6. Returns and Cancellations

6.1. For our full policy on returns, please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy page. 6.2. If you are a consumer ordering online/via phone, you have 14 days to cancel your order under the Distance Selling Regulations. 6.3. Correctly supplied parts returned for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expenses arising out of the use of parts supplied by us. 7.2. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
